A bridal makeup trial isn't just a rehearsal — it's a dedicated appointment where we sit down together, get to know each other, and build your signature wedding look from scratch. While it's not compulsory, it's something I hugely recommend to every bride. It takes the guesswork out of your wedding morning, so you can relax and enjoy every moment knowing exactly how beautiful you're going to look.
What to Expect at Your Trial
The Consultation
Before we even pick up a brush, we talk. I'll ask about your skin type, any sensitivities or allergies, and the overall feel of your wedding — the venue, the dress, the flowers, the vibe. Whether you're getting married at Winchester Cathedral, a Hampshire country estate, or an intimate venue in the countryside, the setting all feeds into your look.
Bring along any inspiration images — Pinterest boards, magazine tears, photos of looks you love. There are no wrong answers here. This is completely your time to share your vision, and my job is to translate it into something that suits your features perfectly.

Building Your Signature Look
By the end of the trial, we'll have agreed on your signature wedding look — every detail noted down so that on your wedding morning, everything is planned, practised, and ready to go. From the exact foundation shade to the lip colour, lash style, and finishing touches, nothing is left to chance.
I'll also note down timing so your morning schedule runs smoothly — whether it's just you, or you have a full bridal party getting ready together at a venue in Winchester or across Hampshire.
